BAMRR the British Association of Magnetic Resonance Radiographers, an association which supports and facilitates the exchange of MRI information for MRI radiographers.
The aim of the British Association of MR Radiographers (BAMRR) is to promote MRI education by encouraging and facilitating CPD for MRI radiographers and other professionals associated with MRI.
To provide MRI educational courses and conferences, support best practice guidelines and advise on MRI issues.
The policy board is comprised of MRI Radiographers who are experts in this field. BAMRR facilitates a website for members and non-members with access to up to date MRI information. An annual conference and AGM at venues across the UK and Ireland. We provide high quality MRI courses for healthcare professionals which include MRI safety, physics, artefacts, scanning techniques and pathologies. We also provide members with access to experts and information forums via the website www.bamrr.org.
You can become a member of BAMRR by signing up through our website.
You would become part of a bigger MRI community and have full access to the BAMRR website including access to MRI safety resources and twice yearly e-Newsletter.
You would receive reduced costs for BAMRR courses and conferences.
You would have access to educational grants to assist with masters level research projects.
You would have links with other professional bodies and organisations related to MRI such as SOR/MRAG, MHRA, IPEM, BIR, UKIO.
- Individual membership is £30 per annum.
- Site membership £150 per annum.
We regularly email our members with news on new BAMRR and other MRI related courses and events.
No, anyone working in the MRI field, in any capacity, from health care assistants to researcher can become a member.
We run beginners and advanced MRI courses regularly. The beginners course includes “hands on scanning”.
