Introductory MRI Course 28th and 29th November 2025 + Membership – Registration CLOSED

The BAMRR Introductory course on will take place on Friday 28th and Saturday 29th November 2025 at the NCSEM in Loughborough. 

This is a two day course aimed at Radiographers new to MRI and includes a simulator session. Taught by experienced MRI radiographers and MRI physicists.

    • Physics How MRI works
    • Physics Simple pulse sequences
    • Contrast Agents
    • Artefacts
    • MSK Imaging
    • Neuro Imaging
    • Fat free Imaging

    Interactive Sessions on:

    • Practical hands on scanner simulator session - parameter manipulation and effect on the image
    • MRI Knee
    • MRI Lumbar Spine
    • MRI Brain
    • View knee, brain and lumbar spine case studies with a reporting radiographer
    • Ask a friendly physicist to explain or go over anything to do with MRI physics

    Please note: paper copies of the presentations will not be provided, pdfs of presentations will be available after the course.
